Global Learning Environment at PTIT
The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) welcomes international students, exchange students, and global learners to study, research, and participate in academic and cultural activities in Vietnam.
As one of Vietnam’s leading universities in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), PTIT provides an international learning environment aligned with digital transformation, innovation, and global academic collaboration.
International Student Community
From 2015 to 2025, PTIT received 174 international students from 12 countries, including:
- Laos;
- Japan;
- France;
- Vanuatu;
- Sri Lanka;
- Tanzania;
- Myanmar;
- Burundi;
- Mozambique;
- Mongolia;
- Yemen;
- and Cambodia.
The international student community includes:
- undergraduate students;
- postgraduate students;
- exchange students;
- internship participants;
- and Vietnamese language preparatory students.
As of May 2026, PTIT is training and managing 110 international students from 9 countries.
Academic and Research Opportunities
International students may participate in:
- undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
- exchange and internship activities;
- research and innovation projects;
- and interdisciplinary technology programmes.
Key academic areas include:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI);
- Cybersecurity;
- Telecommunications and 5G/6G;
- Semiconductor Technology;
- Digital Transformation;
- and Multimedia Technology.
PTIT also develops English-medium programmes, including the Vietnam Master of Computer Science (VMCS) programme.
Scholarships and Student Support
PTIT provides scholarships and support schemes for international students through:
- government agreements;
- institutional scholarships;
- enterprise-sponsored scholarships;
- and partner organizations.
By May 2026, PTIT had awarded 39 scholarships for international students with tuition support ranging from 70% to 100%.
The Institute provides support services including:
- academic advising;
- admission and student affairs support;
- digital learning systems;
- and assistance for international academic activities.

PTIT promotes:

- international workshops and seminars;
- innovation and startup programmes;
- and global research collaboration.
Students also have opportunities to participate in:

PTIT continues expanding international student recruitment, English-medium programmes, exchange activities, and global academic cooperation as part of its internationalization strategy.
